Within these pillars there are specific work programmes corresponding to research priorities determined by EU research policy. For more information, visit the official Horizon 2020 Website
Horizon 2020 in Ireland
Enterprise Ireland provides supports for Horizon 2020 participants based in Ireland such as:

Marie Sklodowska-Curie Actions
The Marie Skłodowska-Curie actions (MSCA) is a programme under the Excellence Science Pillar of Horizon 2020. The programme provides grants for all stages of researchers' careers - be they doctoral candidates or highly experienced researchers - and encourages transnational, intersectoral and interdisciplinary mobility. The Irish MSCA office provides more information and support on MSCA in Ireland.
Examples of EU Funded Research Projects
The Community Research and Development Information Service (CORDIS) is the European Commission's primary public source and portal to disseminate information on all EU-funded research projects and their results. This will allow you to see the types of projects and organisations funded by Horizon 2020 and past research funding programmes.
