Organisations can have as many users as required and assistance with uploading and editing job opportunities will be provided if necessary.

Accessing the extranet

Click on the following link http://extranet.researchcareersireland.com/Default.aspx or log onto www.euraxess.ie and click on the blue section for organisations: post your job opportunities here
1.Log in using your email address
2.Enter your Password:
3.Please email jennifer.cleary@iua.ie if you wish to add more users from your organisation
PLEASE NOTE: This does not give organisations access to the SEARCH FOR JOB OPPORTUNITIES SECTION. You must register separately as a user to avail of this facility.

Organisation Profile

Your organisation profile will also be displayed on the portal and once you have received access details you are requested to add the following details before your job opportunities can be advertised:
When you log on to the extranet, click on to the “View and Amend your organisation profile” on the bottom right hand side of the page. This includes the following:

  • Overview
  • Research Facilities
  • Research Opportunities
  • Who to Contact (this can be amended as per job vacancy)

You are also encouraged to upload your organisation logo.

Posting a Job Opportunity

In the Job Opportunities section, you can:
Load up your latest job opportunities
View and amend your current job opportunities list
. Upload a similar vacancy by editing and pressing the reactivate key and amending the details as required. This saves you re-doing the process for a similar vacancy.
Once organisations you have added your vacancies to the portal, they will feed into the European portal for Research Job Opportunities on a weekly basis. This is one of the most popular resources for researchers and organisations wishing to identify suitable candidates. (http://europa.eu.int/eracareers/index_en.cfm)
